TREATMENTS AND THEIR BENEFITS
Dermal Fillers
Youthful skin is rich in hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance that binds water, hydrates the skin and promotes all important softness and fullness. As we age the HA gradually becomes less efficient. Inevitably, this leads to loss of facial fullness and the tell tale signs of age.
Restylane is considered by many as the ‘Gold Standard’ of Fillers. It is an injectable treatment that contains hyaluron gel. It is specifically formulated to delay the signs of ageing and refresh looks in a natural and subtle way. When injected into the skin, Restylane effectively gives our own HA a helping hand, instantly boosting the skin’s hydration system to restore volume and lift the skin to smooth away and soften the appearance of facial lines. It also stimulates collagen production and improves elasticity resulting in revitalised appearance.
Are Dermal Fillers safe?
Restylane has been proven with more than 10 years of experience to be effective, long lasting and safe with over 6 million treatments worldwide. The gel closely resembles the natural HA found in our skin and is a bio-degradable product. This means that it does not have the long term side effects associated with other, permanent, fillers. The practitioner will explain in full prior to any treatment
Can the Fillers move to other areas?
Restylane is considered the Gold Standard of Fillers. They are licensed and researched over many years. Once injected the product will sit in the space and cannot move or ‘float' elsewhere. Over a period of 6-12 months on average the tissue will absorb the product and break it down slowly, the product will eventually disappear.
Will it look obvious ('trout pout')
The vast majority of clients who have lip enhancement do not want an obvious increase in size but rather a defined border, which removes the fine lines (smokers lines) above the lip. Very, very few clients want ‘inflated lips’. At Bodyenrich we only use bio-degradable products, which are specially designed for the correction of the lip area, giving a soft, very natural result. Allowing you to always be in control.
Does the treatment hurt?
Some people may experience the treatment as a mild discomfort. A local anesthetic cream is often used. Another form of anesthesia, a dental bloc, is used to numb the area when enhancing lips.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections
AKA Botox is a purified protein that blocks the signal to the muscle resulting in a more relaxed appearance.
When it comes to investing in your appearance Wrinkle Relaxing Injections (Botulinum Toxins) are an excellent choice - it is one of the most popular and exciting cosmetic treatments available today!
It works by relaxing specific muscles, softening your expression lines leaving your skin smooth and your facial expression unaffected. Headache and migraine symptoms may also be reduced and a further advantage is that the eye area will get a natural lift.
Is it safe?
The product has been used since the 1960s for medical indications in very high dosages, with no long term side effects ever recorded. For cosmetic purposes it has been used successfully since the 70’s. It is licensed in many countries for cosmetic use and has FDA approval, which is an extremely difficult license to achieve.
Will it freeze or paralyse my face?
The treatment will have the effect of relaxing the treated muscle allowing the lines to re-hydrate and smooth away. You will still be able to express your face however when your face is at rest the line will be greatly improved if not removed. The area feels exactly the same for the majority of clients.
Can the product build up in the body?
When injected, the product is attracted to the nerve endings, it is then metabolised and leaves the body completely within 21 days of administration. It is the result of the treatment that lasts 3 – 6 months on average, not the product. Therefore, it is impossible to have a build up of the product. |
Skin Rejuvenation
Face peels are chemical solutions used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin.
Skin peels are used to treat various medical and aesthetic skin conditions. These conditions include fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, acne, mild acne scarring, hyper-pigmentation and many other skin abnormalities. They achieve this primarily by speeding up the skins natural cell renewal cycle and by removing its damaged outer layers, increasing collagen & elastin production resulting in a smoother plumper complexion.
Will a peel improve scarring?
For the client who wants to improve scarring, such as caused by acne, the peels are very successful. However, it may take more than one peel for the optimum result and, therefore, a longer period of time is required for this treatment. It may be recommended that a course of peels are needed, spread over 6 to 18 months.
Can I have a peel at my first appointment?
In order to achieve the optimum result, it may be necessary to prepare the skin before the treatment. This is done by the client using home care products for a minimum of two weeks pre peel. Therefore, in this instance the client is better to have a consultation at one clinic, prepare the skin and be booked in to the next clinic for the treatment.
Will I be able to go out in the sun after a peel?
The peels resurface the skin. It is always recommended that clients wear a sun protection cream afterwards, of at least SPF 30. The skin is more susceptible to damage for 4 weeks following a peel, therefore, it is not advisable to go into the sun during this period. As we know that the sun causes so much ageing to the skin and damage, it is recommended to all clients that they wear sun protection permanently. If the client is going on holiday to a hot climate it is recommended that the peel be done on their return and not beforehand.
Will the peel improve pigmentation marks?
A lot of uneven pigmentation marks are caused by sun damage, these can be greatly improved by peel treatment. However, this is not always the case and, with all peels, there is a small risk of pigmentation marks may remain. |
